Tarragindi Providore

Good Things Grocer

The Challenge GTG Faced

Good Things Grocer is the go-to providore for the Tarragindi community, serving up exceptional coffee and locally sourced delights. As a new venture, they needed a website that positioned them as a must-visit shopping destination—one worth crossing suburbs for.

What Was Holding GTG Back

While locals knew about GTG from a community Facebook group and its prominent street presence, the business needed to attract a wider audience through organic local search and PR. With media coverage lined up, Kym and Sarah needed a website to capitalise on the buzz and turn curiosity into foot traffic.

At the same time, GTG’s Google Business Listing wasn’t optimised, meaning they weren’t making the most of local search. Without a strong online presence, potential customers searching for high-quality local produce or specialty coffee nearby weren’t finding them.

GTG’s Biggest Doubt (and How We Overcame It)

As seasoned hospitality professionals, Kym and Sarah are busy—with a capital ‘B’! They were concerned about finding the time to manage a website project while running their business. At the same time, they had a pressing deadline, wanting the site live before the spring racing season and Christmas gifting rush.

I reassured them that my process would be as hands-off as possible on their end. I met with them in-store, worked closely with Grounded Copy to streamline content creation, and kept decision-making quick and easy, providing gentle nudges to keep the project on track—allowing them to focus on their business while we brought their vision to life.

Why GTG Would Never Go Back

Now, GTG has an online home that truly reflects its warm, welcoming vibe and curated selection of local goods. The Shopify website acts as a digital storefront, making it easy for new customers to discover them and plan a visit.

But the best part? Kym and Sarah are no longer missing out on opportunities. With local press coverage bringing fresh attention to GTG, we also helped them optimise their Google Business Listing—improving their visibility in local search, driving website traffic, and increasing store visits. Now, when potential customers search for gourmet groceries or specialty coffee in the area, GTG appears front and centre.

And with plans to introduce online ordering for flowers and hampers, the website is set to support GTG’s next stage of growth.
